According to the Public Relations Office of the Qom seminary scholar’s community, following the plan to intensify the siege and complete occupation of Gaza by the usurping Zionist regime, the Qom seminary scholar’s community issued the following statement:
In the Name of God
The bloody events in Gaza and the painful genocide of its oppressed people, through blockade and the embargo on food supplies, continue unabated. The child-killing butchers, under the shadow of overt and covert support from the United States and the inaction of international bodies and human rights organizations, are brazenly and arrogantly plotting the plan to intensify the siege and completely occupy Gaza. All the laws of war and human rights conventions regard the actions of the usurping Zionist regime as clear examples of state terrorism, war crimes, and genocide.
Freedom-seekers around the world, in support of the oppressed people of Palestine and the children besieged by bullets and hunger, have taken to the streets; yet, the silence of puppet governments, the pressure exerted by Zionist lobbies, and the malice of the leaders of imperialist powers have prevented any realization of a ceasefire and the liberation of the people of Gaza.
The Qom seminary scholar’s community, following the teachings of Islam and the divine and logical strategies of the two leaders of the Islamic Revolution, emphasizes its unwavering support for the people of Palestine and the cause of al-Quds al-Sharif, and declares:
The divine traditions and the history of nations who, with the help of God, have remained steadfast in the path of truth show that divine victory and aid will soon come to pass, and that triumph belongs to the front of truth and the oppressed people. The Pharaoh-like oppressors will ultimately perish in the whirlpool of their own injustice and crimes, and disgrace will be the permanent mark upon the faces of the supporters of criminals and the self-proclaimed defenders of human rights who have failed this test.
Today, Gaza is the field of testing for awakened and aware consciences, and any silence in the face of the massive anti-human oppression of the Zionists is complicity with that predatory and vile regime. The cruel and inhumane plan to occupy Gaza will certainly end in failure, and the Islamic resistance in Gaza, with determination and divine assistance, will be the ultimate victor in this arena, God willing
