Statement released by Qom seminary scholar’s community condemning the remarks of the French President in insulting the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)

In the name of Allah the all compassionate the most merciful
The insulting and ignorant words of the President of France and the insistence of this French official on continuing to insult and desecrate the honorable realm of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) once again revealed the peak of ignorance and backwardness of the claimants of rationality and thought
.
These audacities are nothing more than dust and will not affect the sunny threshold and the eternal light of that glorious prophet.
The Qom seminary scholar’s community, while expressing its disgust with the falsehoods and exaggerations of the French authorities, declares: The Islamic world will not stay silent against insulting Islamic sanctities and will make the insulters regret. We call on the legal institutions of the Islamic world to present and organize a plan to protect the holy and great prophets, as well as we ask the Islamic governments to implement political and economic sanctions, reduce relations with insulters and ban the commercial activities with French companies.
We call on the Foreign Ministry and the diplomats to pursue the French authorities in all seriousness until a legal and judicial conviction is obtained.
