In the name of God the all compassionate the most merciful
Increasing sectarian tensions and political protests in India that have led to the killing of a large number of Muslims, have raised concerns.
India is a country where many different sects and religions have lived together for years, and today it does not deserve to become a place of bloody sectarian strife.
Condemning these actions, the Qom seminary scholars’ community calls on the officials of the country’s diplomatic organization to keep investigate of what is happening in India with respect to ethical and political aspects and to strive to achieve peaceful and healthy life for the Indian Muslims.
India’s Ruling Party’s discriminatory policy of stripping citizenship from Indian Muslims have been angered Muslims in India and other countries therefore we call on the government of India to respect the rights of all Indian citizens on the basis of justice, international law and citizenship laws, and call on the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation to fulfill its Islamic and humanitarian duty to defend the right of Muslims in India and to use all its capacities and opportunities to end conflicts and achieve political stability and coexistence.
